What image comes to mind when you think of December?
It's about time you start to hear the sound of bells ringing.
A night surrounded by presents in front of a fireplace and streets sparkling with illuminations.
Trees and leaves decorated by families...
It's the exciting time to prepare for a wonderful event.
This year has been a frustrating year, with many people missing each other but unable to. Give gifts to your precious family, friends, and loved ones, with the feelings of gratitude you feel for those you missed!
The Ichi presents December gift suggestions that Santa must see!
Dear Santas! Are you ready? There's still time! Christmas present special!

After all, you can't miss the big event that is "Christmas!"
Children are excited about receiving presents from Santa Claus and busy decorating the tree. Some of them may already be counting down the days until Christmas.
As you look at your adorable child's smile, are you both fully prepared for your annual Santa duties?
Also, it's not just children who are happy to receive presents. Let's give presents to each other with the feelings of "thank you" that we don't usually have the chance to express.
Christmas is an easy time to give and receive! It's a wonderful event where everyone can be honest with themselves. It's a great opportunity for those who feel embarrassed to be too close, and for those who want to get closer but can't take the first step. Take advantage of this chance and welcome Christmas with a smile.
Here are some of my recommended items.
Gifts for children selected by The Ichi Santa

A great gift for your children or grandchildren!
Toys aren't the only things that can make children happy.
How about some everyday accessories or things to wear?
It would be nice if the gift from your loved one is something they use all the time and that they will always see. They will definitely remember you every time they see it!
The Ichi carries a wide range of items in children's sizes, so you can get the perfect Christmas present!
For couples and married couples
Of course, the best thing to receive from a loved one is a matching item.
The reason why matching items that are just for the two of you are good is that every time you see them, you naturally feel the other person's presence and feel happy.
Even when you're apart, you'll feel connected. It's sure to bring you closer together.

Wear something sparkly for your illumination date
When it comes to winter dates, illuminations come to mind.
The lights lit up on the roadside trees create a romantic glow around the area. Enjoying the night view is a perfect date experience in winter.
Even though it has become an annual tradition, it is still popular with many fans due to its unique atmosphere. When you walk together through the sparkling cityscape, you feel as if you have entered a fantasy world.
The stylish scenery spreads out before you, making you wish time would stop. You can enjoy a relaxing and wonderful time with your partner.
Why not try some sparkly accessories to match the illuminations this winter?
We will introduce recommended items for a "girly and pretty outfit" that is perfect for a special date with your boyfriend or for the many parties that occur this season.
Start the new year with new chopsticks!
Chopsticks are an essential part of the Japanese diet.
Among the three basic necessities of life (food, clothing, and shelter), it is one of the items that we rarely outgrow or replace with the seasons, like clothes and bedding.
I think there are many people who don't buy a new one unless it breaks.
In Japan, there is an ancient custom of starting the new year with new chopsticks.
Chopsticks have long been considered to be auspicious items and have been treated as symbols of longevity and health.
Also, since it was customary to replace chopsticks once a year, it was said that buying new chopsticks every year at New Year's would bring about a good year.
There are many auspicious chopsticks, and there are many different types, such as "octagonal chopsticks" named after the number eight, which represents the auspicious sign of good fortune, and "pentagonal chopsticks" which are a pun on the Japanese word for "passing a certain grade."
It's perfect as a new purchase for the whole family or as a gift for someone who has been kind to you.
Now let's introduce some auspicious chopsticks!
Celebrating New Year in traditional Japanese clothing
There is not much time left in the year, but are you getting ready for the new year?
The end of the year is very busy...
With the end of work, spring cleaning, and lots of events, things can get hectic, but it's important to start preparing for the new year early!
As soon as January arrives, there will be many occasions where you will need to dress up formally, such as for the first shrine visit of the year, visiting relatives, and gatherings with family members.
In such a case, why not attend the event in a kimono, the formal Japanese attire?
You will feel refreshed both in body and mind, and be able to start the year with a dignified feeling.
Once you're ready for your kimono, don't forget to style your hair!
My recommendation is a hairpin.
It's perfect to wear with a kimono! Why not try a hairpin with a strong Japanese feel? Now is the time to get one as a hair accessory for your Coming of Age Ceremony!
I'd like to introduce a few of them.
lastly.

What did you think?
This was a very substantial December column.
Have you forgotten to buy anything, such as Christmas presents or New Year's preparations?
For those who have helped me this year, and for those who have a birthday.
Also, treat yourself.
We hope you enjoy shopping at The Ichi.
