[The Ichi (Zaichi)] Editor's recommendation! Peach Day special
The Ichi editorial team's recommendations are a special feature page featuring seasonally recommended products selected by our site staff, regardless of brand. March 3rd is Peach Day every year. Peach Day is actually a commemorative day established in the 1990s and is different from the Peach Festival. Peach Festival was originally called Jōshi no Sekku, but when Jōshi no Sekku became one of the five seasonal festivals, it came to be called Peach Festival because March 3rd on the lunar calendar is when peach blossoms bloom, and peaches were believed to ward off evil. The Ichi produces a wide variety of peach-themed (pink) goods named after peaches.
