Neko Masshigura, which also has a wide selection of original products, is introducing a hand mirror from their carefully selected selection of cat-themed fashion accessories. This hand mirror depicts cats, beloved by people since the Edo period, curled up asleep on a zabuton cushion. Each mirror is carefully crafted by artisans using a technique called Edo Kimekomi, in which various patterned fabrics are woven along lines carved into the original mold. The hand mirror fits snugly in the hand, so it can be carried around on a zabuton cushion, or displayed on top of a zabuton cushion as an interior decoration.
