Description
This is a Majeste hairpin with a good connection rod from the Kihei series, which is based on the Kihei chain motif.
The shape of the Kihei is made up of four sides.
The number 4 is read as "yo" in kunyomi, which means "good."
The wickerwork pattern on the back is made up of three lines, which have the meaning of warding off evil and disease.
It is our hope that good things will continue to happen, such as numbers 3 and 4.
Place the Majeste over your updo and insert the stick to secure it in place. The arched design allows you to place it over a ponytail or chignon for an instantly glamorous look. The tip of the brass shaft is adorned with a square ornament, a motif found in kihei (traditional Japanese currency). This hair accessory is easy to wear for everyday use and looks great with both traditional Japanese clothing and casual attire.
