Description
This gorgeous maiko umbrella features a modest white plum blossom and a gorgeous gold leaf-like design.
This Japanese parasol, also known as a maiko umbrella or dance umbrella, is a traditional Japanese umbrella. As its name suggests, it's a traditional Japanese umbrella used in traditional performing arts like Japanese dance and kabuki. The maiko umbrella with the Hokusai graphic features a bold, modern, and vibrant original Japanese graphic covering the entire umbrella fabric. The decorative threads on the inside of the umbrella are also colored, and the ferrule is engraved with the Hokusai crest, creating a luxurious finish. The umbrella holder, which is attached when carrying the umbrella, can also be used as a bracelet or hair clip when not in use. The pearl dangling from the center of the umbrella holder is engraved with a Seigaiha (wave pattern) design, representing the Hokusai graphic. It is perfect for matching with yukata, kimono, and other clothing, and is also popular as a photo accessory, ornament, or souvenir. It will add a touch of color to any occasion, from everyday to special occasions.
