Description
Like cherry blossoms floating in the twilight, this elegant piece combines the brilliance of mother-of-pearl and openwork carving.
This is a drumstick-shaped hairpin with a glossy black lacquered fan surface decorated with iridescent cherry blossoms and delicate openwork carvings.
The main cherry blossom is made of a mother-of-pearl-like material, which changes its appearance depending on the angle from which it is viewed. Its appearance against the jet-black body gives off a fantastical beauty, like cherry blossoms at night illuminated by moonlight. The upper left corner is adorned with an elegant arabesque openwork design, adding a sense of lightness and coolness to the solid feel.
The fan-shaped design is considered auspicious and will enhance any special occasion outfit, such as a tomesode (formal kimono) for a wedding, a houmongi (formal kimono) for a party, or a furisode (long-sleeved kimono) for a party. The gold lettering "Kasho" is engraved on the bottom right, adding a touch of elegance to the back of your head. Why not add a touch of glamour only a mature woman can achieve with your hairstyle for an important day?
