Description
The popular tobacco pipe hairpin is back, even easier to wear and more durable.
This single hairpin (kanzashi) is based on the kiseru (Japanese tobacco pipe), a traditional Japanese smoking implement. A refined tobacco pipe, still in use today, enjoyed by many as both a luxury item and a work of art, has been transformed into a simple hairpin. The gold shank and mouthpiece, along with the soft, smooth texture of the reed oak, give it an elegant impression, creating a chic and unique style. The cherry blossoms represent the beauty of falling petals, the dragonfly represents the "victory insect" that advances forward and never retreats, and the boar represents the fiercely charging boar warrior.
The handle is made of durable material, so you can tie your hair with just one. The simple design also allows you to enjoy stacking it with other kanzashi. This is an easy-to-use kanzashi that goes well with casual clothing.
Designer's thoughts
A tobacco pipe, once a status symbol and an expression of aspirations for samurai, has been turned into a hairpin. Engraved with a motif that represents the aspirations of the samurai, the design evokes a sense of storytelling. This modern and stylish hairpin has no sagging and gives a clean finish to the back.

| material |
Brass, tall reed |
| size | Total length approximately 18.3cm |
| Product Features | This is the stem of the tall reed. The friction of the tall reed acts as a stopper, so it is recommended for those with soft hair who find it difficult to fasten with brass. Please note that it may break if too much force is applied. As it is a natural material, slight variations may occur between individual pieces. |
