Description
This is a beautiful and romantic 4-way double hairpin, with large and small drop-cut beads in two colors that sparkle in the light.
The long and short hairpins are connected by a ball chain necklace, and can be removed to be used as separate hairpins. The chain between the two hairpins is decorated with deep colored drop-cut beads and aurora beads that change color in a gradation. This ball chain can also be used as a necklace with beads as a pendant. The deep colored beads give a mature and unique look, while the thin ball chain connecting the two hairpins gives a feminine and delicate impression.
Designer's thoughts
Large, drop-cut beads in rich colors create a sophisticated look. The larger beads sparkle in the light, while smaller beads sparkle with a mysterious color that changes color depending on the angle. This double-stranded kanzashi, consisting of a long and short stem connected by a chain, can be detached and used as a pendant. You can also create a voluminous single kanzashi by placing the chain only on the long stem, allowing for a variety of different looks. Since the chain connecting the stems is quite long, we recommend tying your hair with the long stem and placing the short stem around your ear, letting the chain flow. The name "Fiona," meaning "bright" in Celtic, is inspired by the protagonist of an old film about mermaid legends. We envisioned this kanzashi as possessing the refined beauty of a mermaid, and as a way to brighten your spirits by pairing it with a variety of outfits.
