■ Designer's thoughts The brooch was designed with a focus on expressing the surface and craters of the moon. The texture on the front is matte, while the sides are polished, giving the appearance of a slightly shining outline when viewed from the front. The back is decorated with a design inspired by the proverb "Murakumo on the moon." "Murakumo on the moon, wind on flowers" is a proverb that means good things are easily interrupted and do not go as planned. Even when things are going well, do not let your guard down, and even if something gets in the way, keep moving forward without getting discouraged. This is the message we put into the design.
