Description
This is a single hairpin with a motif of a kagura bell, which is used by shrine maidens when performing shrine maiden dances, a dance of prayer and dedication.
Kagura bells, also known as shrine maiden bells, were originally used in divine possession ceremonies in which a god would descend upon the shrine maiden presiding over the ritual. Enjoy the clear, crisp sound without any harsh ringing. The sound is said to have powerful purifying powers, as well as the power to invite the gods, making it a recommended talisman. The long, non-slip wooden shaft makes it easy to style even thick hair. It pairs well with Western clothing, kimonos, and yukatas.
Designer's thoughts
This hairpin allows you to enjoy a moment of peace and tranquility with the pure sound of this sacred ritual implement. It is said that the power of the sound is proportional to the spiritual level of one's guardian deity or guardian spirit, and it may serve as an opportunity to become aware of beings that one normally ignores. Enjoy the cleansing sound that you normally do not come into contact with.
