Description
This dance umbrella features a crane, a symbol of good fortune, flying through the sky with a shining red sunrise on its back. It's a Japanese parasol, also known as a maiko umbrella or dance umbrella. As its name suggests, it's a traditional Japanese umbrella used in traditional performing arts like Japanese dance and kabuki. The maiko umbrella with Hokusai graphics features a bold, modern, and vibrant original Japanese graphic covering the entire umbrella fabric. The decorative thread on the inside of the umbrella is Hokusai's colors of blue, pink, and light blue. The ferrule is luxuriously engraved with the Hokusai crest. The umbrella holder, which is attached when carrying the umbrella, can also be used as a bracelet or hair clip when not in use. The pearl dangling from the center of the umbrella holder is engraved with a blue ocean wave, a Hokusai graphic.
