■ Designer's thoughts Using a frog hiding amongst lotus flowers as its motif, we have crafted this obidome as if to capture the scene. A lotus bud, with a focus on cute, plump roundness, sits atop a leaf that has been carefully crafted to look realistic and fluttering. Within the bud, a tiny frog peeks out, so small you would never notice it unless you were looking for it. Although the frog is small, we have put great care into the design, even down to the tips of its fingers, and have depicted it in detail. The back is decorated with a lotus flower design, and on the underside of the leaf there is a tadpole. The design is like a picture, and you can sense a story behind it. It is recommended not only as an obidome, but also as a pendant top by attaching it to a chain.
