Description

This two-pronged hairpin (kanzashi) combines pastel beads with a soft, antique-style stem in soft colors, inspired by the natural phenomenon of circular auras floating above the head and rainbow-colored halos that appear due to sunlight.

The hairpin, which resembles diffused light, features beads of different sizes, shapes, and textures randomly arranged in matching colors. The contrast between the sparkling beads and the matte beads creates a modest cuteness. It goes well with kimonos and yukatas, as well as everyday outfits, and is perfect for evening updos. A single piece can also be used to tie up long hair. It is not too flashy and can be used neatly, so it is recommended for those who are wearing a hairpin for the first time.

Designer's thoughts
This design is inspired by the halo, a circular light placed behind the head of a sacred being. The halo is a mysterious motif that has been widely used in various paintings and expressions, regardless of culture or ideology, as a symbol of supernatural sublimity. By using softly reflective beads, we have created a soft, gentle light that seems to shine from a halo. By combining parts of different sizes and shapes, we have expressed the random intensity and size of the light, creating a sharp and varied finish.

Shaft Features This is a two-pronged kanzashi, so it is recommended as a stem for evening updos. Applying excessive force to it may cause it to bend or break.
