These chopsticks are decorated with the silhouette of a sitting cat in maki-e (lacquerware) and are made by hand one by one by artisans using traditional methods in Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture.

These chopsticks are made entirely in Japan, with each pair hand-painted and painted by a craftsman. "Wajima chopsticks" are made entirely from synthetic resin, without using lacquer. They are the perfect pair to give as a souvenir or gift to a close friend.
